About Us

Northwest Carbon was born out of the need to merge solid understanding of regional ecosystem-scale management, with the knowledge of carbon and other environmental markets required to drive wholesale change in the way the Australian countryside is managed. This is delivered with a deeply-rooted understanding of community and stakeholder desires.

We have identified the point at which traditional natural resource management approaches have succeeded in the Australian rangelands, and the factors that are currently limiting the success of those approaches. It is here where Norwest Carbon is pushing past the limits of traditional approaches to natural resource management, and driving new and innovative ways of pursuing integrated environmental, economic and social improvement through new and emerging commercial markets.

Our staff and partner organisations and associates have extensive experience with rangelands management, pastoral and agricultural industry, landscape ecology and carbon project and methodology development. Our skills and experience place us in a unique position to work with a broad range of specialist expertise to deliver for our clients.
